Project Mgr, Data & AI Engineering

We are looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in the Data and AI domain to lead the planning execution and delivery of innovative data-driven solutions. You will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and aligned with strategic objectives.

This role requires a blend of project management discipline technical understanding and stakeholder engagement to drive measurable business outcomes through the use of data analytics and AI technologies.

What will you do

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end project management for Data & AI initiatives including scoping planning resource allocation budgeting and risk management.
• Define project objectives timelines and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams (data engineers data scientists and business analysts).
• Monitor progress and manage dependencies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with governance security and data management standards.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Serve as the main point of contact for all project-related communications and updates.
• Facilitate alignment between business sponsors technical teams and external partners.
• Prepare and present project reports dashboards and updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage expectations and foster strong client and team relationships.

Delivery Quality & Risk Management

• Identify and proactively manage project risks issues and change requests.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet business and technical requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

• Coordinate and motivate cross-functional project teams ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Support technical teams in resolving blockers and prioritizing work.
• Foster a culture of accountability innovation and delivery excellence.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering Business or related field.
• 510 years of experience in project management with at least 23 years in data analytics or AI projects.
• Strong understanding of data lifecycle management data platforms analytics tools and AI/ML concepts.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication negotiation and presentation skills.
• PMP PRINCE2 or Agile certification preferred.

• Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented organized and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
