LOCATION: London Salford Cardiff Glasgow Birmingham Newcastle Belfast Hybrid (1 to 2 days per week in an office)
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 42000 - 47000 depending on relevant skills knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

The interview process for this role will have 2 stages:
1st) A BBC Values and Behaviours QA session / 45-60 minutes. Questions will be provided ahead of the interview

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Senior Sourcing Advisor within the BBCs Strategic Sourcing team you will play a pivotal role in identifying engaging and advising on the best talent for our organisation. Our mission is to deliver an exceptional People Experience for candidates stakeholders and colleagues alike. We take a data-driven approach to sourcing focusing on cost avoidance time-to-hire and candidate longevity. This role is central to shaping the future of talent acquisition at the BBC through innovative sourcing strategies and market insights.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:

Source maintain and actively engage inclusive and specialist talent pools to support current and future hiring needs.
Lead as a sourcing expert applying innovative and evolving methods to identify the right talent.
Act as a BBC Brand Ambassador promoting our employer brand in all interactions.
Provide market insights and recommendations to hiring teams including trends salary benchmarks and candidate feedback.
Use data to inform and continuously improve sourcing strategies and processes.
Collaborate closely with Employer Brand Executive Search and Talent Acquisition teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Explore creative cost-effective sourcing methods to identify diverse talent globally.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Proven talent acquisition and/or sourcing experience (agency RPO/embedded partner or in-house). You do not need prior in-house experience to be considered
Proven skills in candidate mapping research and building/maintaining talent pools via talent tools (CRM ATS etc)
Deep knowledge of sourcing tools and techniques such as LinkedIn SeekOut Juicebox Boolean X-ray searching etc
A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in all aspects of talent acquisition
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

Experience in talent marketing or employer branding initiatives
Previous experience in sourcing for Technology/Product roles
Proven experience working with and analysing data including visualisation to an intermediate level via Excel or Sheets (training available).
