Job Summary
Job Vacancy Caretaker
Governors are looking for an enthusiastic committed and hardworking Caretaker to join our passionate team. We are a welcoming and caring school community with friendly staff and children.
The role of caretaker will involve ensuring security hygiene maintenance and repairs within the school and school grounds monitoring and operating energy systems and liaising closely with contractors. The successful applicant must be able to maintain the school building and its grounds to a high standard and be able to organise tasks prioritising the most important first. An understanding of Health & Safety responsibilities and general buildings improvement and maintenance is important.

Please note this position requires a split shift. Hours are negotiable but will include opening school at 7am and closing at 6pm.
The position is initially a 12 month contract with the view to becoming a permanant post.
There is some room for flexibility for the right candidate.
Closing date for applications is Thursday 22nd January. We are hoping the successful candidate will be able to start as soon as possible.
