The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager Paint Operations (level K) to support STL Paint Operations Team in Berkeley MO!
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing activities in multiple paint manufacturing areas
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture
Manage inspire develop and motivate employees
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A Final U.S. secret clearance Prestart is required OR An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years experience Painting Experience in one or more of the following specialties: Aerospace or Automotive Paint Application Paints & Coatings Inorganic Chemical Processes Environmental Health and Safety or Sealants
Leadership experience in a formal or informal capacity
Experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Degree or higher in relevant field
Lean Six Sigma experience
