Curries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is looking for a Logistics Shipping Clerk to join our Shipping/Logistics team on 2nd shift. This role will be based is an on-site at our manufacturing facility located in Mason City Iowa.
Come see who we are at: would you do as our Logistics Shipping Clerk
Youll compile and organize orders for shipment interact with team members and departments and coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
You would also:
- Prepare and complete bills of lading for shipments
- Process customer shipping orders and load tickets for full and partial shipments
- Enter daily trailer inventory data into Excel and share with relevant departments
- Notify carriers and drivers of shipments when necessary
- Verify orders/loads for accuracy and release for invoicing
- Complete daily weight sheets (2nd shift only)
- Maintain trailer inventory records and email updates
- Support quality standards and initiate corrective actions when needed
- Work safely and follow all company policies
- Special assignments as assigned
- Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards
- Assure compliance with federal state local and corporate policies regulations AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
The Skills and Experience You Need:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to operate computer and office equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
