Job Summary
Seven Hills Hospital and Center for Hope of the Sierras bring a world of compassion hope and best practice medical care to the people who need it the most. Located in Henderson Nevada Seven Hills Hospital and Center for Hope combine to provide services for behavioral health and chemical dependency for both adults geriatrics and adolescents (ages 11-17). The continuum of care consists of a 134-bed psychiatric hospital and an extensive array of outpatient services that include a partial hospitalization program (PHP) an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and traditional outpatient services for adults and adolescents. Henderson is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and is located just 7 miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip and a couple of miles from beautiful Lake Mead.
Seven Hills Hospital is part of the Acadia Healthcare a provider of behavioral healthcare services throughout the US.
- Ensure mental health treatment services are provided in a way that maximizes client independence and family empowerment.
- Carry a caseload of patients where you provide individual couples and family counseling services as clinically indicated to assist individuals in achieving more effective personal social educational and vocational development and adjustment.
- Run therapeutic groups that could include DBT CBT Relapse Prevention Body Image Self-Esteem Interpersonal Process Groups etc.
- Participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings timely completion of all required documentation and case management as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Masters Degree in Counseling Social Work Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology from an accredited college or university.
Licensure:
May be a NV licensed intern working towards licensure or fully licensed in CSW LCSW LPC APC MFT etc.;
Experience:
Minimum One (1) year experience working as a therapist in Mental Health preferably in eating disorders in an acute hospital setting residential setting or partial hospitalization program.
