The Position:
We are currently seeking a full-time Bilingual Administrative Assistant for the Healthy Families in America (HFA) program in our Palmdale office. This position is primarily responsible for providing general clerical and administrative support as directed.
What Youll Do
- Provide clerical support to administrative and clinical programs. Including but not limited to the following tasks: Technology set-up/Lap-top requests Filing -hard copies or electronic copies as needed mailing letters/correspondence and copying
- Maintains inventory and ordering of office supplies as approved by Supervisor on a monthly basis
- Provides overall administrative support to HFA Program including opening and closing HFA cases in the EHR as required by contracts creating new client charts and files paperwork on a weekly basis and maintaining Stronger Families Database and updates EXYM as needed.
- Generates various monthly and periodic reports pertaining to Antelope Valley programs as requested by HFA Program Manager and/or HFA Supervisor.
- Responsible for maintaining QA tracking data spreadsheet.
- Hours: Full-time Monday Friday. 8:00am 5:00pm (1-hour meal period)
- Fully onsite
- Starting Salary: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a medical administrative or mental health agency office setting.
- Must be able to communicate effectively clearly and concisely in an oral and written manner.
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities and use time effectively.
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision plus the ability to work within stringent deadlines.
- High work standards and a mature professional work attitude are essential.
- Must be able to get along with others in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
