The Credentialing Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete credentialing and privilege process for all clinicians across programs and locations. This role ensures accuracy regulatory compliance and efficient coordination between clinicians leadership and governing committees.
What to expect.
You will lead all credentialing operations maintain critical compliance systems and serve as the primary resource for clinicians and leadership regarding credentialing status. This position blends detailed administrative work process management system oversight and staff supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Manage end-to-end credentialing and recredentialing processes ensuring compliance with Joint Commission State CARF NCQA and CMS requirements.
- Maintain and optimize the ECHO credentialing database; track and coordinate expiring licenses certifications and insurance documents.
- Prepare complete credentialing files for Credentialing Committee Medical Executive Committee and Board of Trustees review.
- Develop update and implement credentialing policies and procedures.
- Resolve credentialing and privileging issues and conduct routine audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide administrative and data support for Medical Staff operations and delegated managed care audits.
- Communicate credentialing status and updates to clinicians Program Directors Administrators and other stakeholders.
- Supervise train and evaluate credentialing staff.

What we need from you:
- High school diploma with 2-3 years of administrative experience required; Bachelors degree and healthcare experience preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral health credentialing processes; familiarity with TJC and NCQA requirements.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and proficiency in Excel Word and credentialing systems (ECHO preferred).
- Strong organizational project-management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume deadline-driven workflows.
The pay range for this position is $52499.20 minimum to $81078.40 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to years and level of related experience.
