We are now looking for a Sustainability Controller and Compliance Officer with a solid controlling background who is ready to take ownership of sustainability reporting in an international group environment.

The role suits a Business Controller who is confident in data analysis and reporting and who wants to apply these skills in a sustainability context that is established regulated and evolving.

Your role

You will hold a central role in coordinating consolidating and assuring sustainability data and reporting across the Nederman Group. The role combines regulatory compliance structured reporting and continuous development with clear responsibility for data quality and internal controls. You will work closely with group companies senior management and auditors and play an active role in developing and strengthening sustainability reporting processes over time.

You will report to the Senior Group Business Controller & Sustainability Reporting Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare update and coordinate the Nederman Group CSRD report from a compliance perspective
  • Collect consolidate and analyse sustainability data and KPIs for external reporting and internal management reporting
  • Drive and maintain sustainability processes such as double materiality assessment CSDDD and SBTi
  • Support group companies in ensuring compliance with CBAM reporting requirements
  • Coordinate and provide documentation to group auditors related to sustainability reporting
  • Drive internal control processes to ensure accuracy consistency and reliability of sustainability KPIs
  • Monitor and interpret changes in sustainability-related regulations and assess their impact on the Nederman Group
  • Manage the sustainability KPI budget reporting process including consolidation and follow-up

Who we are looking for

This role is intended for a Business Controller with a solid foundation in reporting analysis and data consolidation who is eager to apply these skills in a sustainability context and continue to grow professionally. Confidence in working with complex data combined with curiosity and a willingness to question learn and adapt is essential.

A structured and analytical mindset is important together with the ability to translate reporting and regulatory requirements into practical workable processes and to collaborate effectively across a global organisation. Comfort in an evolving role and an interest in sustainability are key as is the ambition to build deep expertise in frameworks and regulations such as CSRD CSDDD SBTi EUDR and CBAM.

Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
