  • Responsible for receiving phone calls and fax requests to schedule patients for outpatient tests.
  • Complete pre-registration of scheduled patients and ensure a valid provider order is obtained.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Required: High School/GED
  • Preferred: 1-3 years previous Patient Scheduling or Patient Access experience or similar work in physician clinic.
  • Preferred: Office experience in a healthcare environment medical terminology knowledge of CPT/ICD-9 codes ability to multitask and prioritization skills.
  • Professional customer service professional telephone skills communication skills knowledge of computer systems and typing skills.
