This position will serve as a nurse interventionist for the Program of SUPPORT-T Research Study led by Dr. Kathleen Lindell. The nurse interventionist will communicate with research participants (patients and caregivers) during the study and monitor questionnaire results and work closely with the Principal Investigator and Study Coordinator.

Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD student with palliative care focus

  • Strong foundation in nursing science research methodology or related content area.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with online platforms (REDCap)

  • Commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

  • Understanding of PhD-level education and scholarly inquiry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Record of scholarly publications

  • Expertise in areas such as philosophy of science qualitative or mixed methods research theory or implementation science

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will receive and review all participant questionnaires to identify any problems

  • Will communicate with intervention arm participants every 2 weeks during intervention delivery

  • Responsible for REDCap data entry of communications with participants

  • Attend weekly research team meetings to keep all members apprised/updated on study participants.
