EDUCATION Degree in finance accounting or business administration or equivalent work experience equally preferable Preferred: Master of Business Administration (MBA)CERTIFICATIONS Required: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA); experience with enterprise planning platforms such as Anaplan or Snowflake is a plusWORK EXPERIENCE Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) with leadership in strategic planning in the finance industryFUNCTIONAL SKILLS Expertise in capital management financial modeling and advanced forecasting techniques Strong understanding of financial risk management including market credit and liquidity risk Proficiency in real-time financial analytics and big data tools such as Tableau and Power BI Deep knowledge of global regulations such as Basel III Dodd-Frank Act and MiFID II Leadership in implementing artificial intelligence (AI)-driven forecasting and financial decision support systems Experience in strategic scenario planning under uncertainty Understanding of integrated business planning and enterprise-wide forecasting governanceFOUNDATIONAL SKILLS Demonstrates leadership Communicates effectively Identifies multiple paths to success using analytical and critical thinking as well as decision-making skills Operates strategically to support a culture of continuous improvement and systems thinking Makes sound business decisions in a complex work environment Collaborates with other business functions and divisions to advance business objectives Is flexible decisive and able to establish support from leadership Monitors industry trends and best practices and applies insights to advance the business Inspires innovation and values learning as a lifelong professional objective Leads by example engaging inclusively and with intent Always acts with integrityRESPONSIBILITIES Lead financial planning budgeting and forecasting processes across regions Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on predictive modeling Oversee evaluation of large-scale investments including mergers and acquisitions and capital allocation strategies Guide cross-functional teams in assessing financial impact of business decisions including environmental social and governance (ESG) goals Lead integration of AI-based financial planning tools and digital transformation initiatives Ensure compliance with global financial regulations including cross-border taxation and capital requirements Analyze and optimize capital structure liquidity and working capital Establish forecasting accuracy metrics and lead data quality initiativesMitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
