Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer

We are supporting various customers worldwide in automotive electrical and electronics systems development. We are recruiting for a Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer for our UK customer.

You will be responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the dimensions; mass balance; occupant positions and accommodation and the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. You will be part of the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond.

Skills required:

• Excellent project and people management skills with tenacity in resolving issues
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with senior management
• Ability to resolve complex multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity

Skills preferred:

• Knowledge of FEDE PLM CAE CAD Auros - E2KS and Digital Buck tools
• CATIA abilities

Experience required

• Delivery of vehicle programs

Experience preferred:

• Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants / configurations preferred

Education required:

• Degree in an Engineering discipline

Position is confirmed inside IR35. Successful candidates need to be eligible to work in the UK.5 Days in office with an optional 1 day remote working (In office days Mon-Thurs).
