Job Summary
Quality Staffing Inc. also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the areas top companies is looking for an experienced Licensed Speech and Language Pathologistto work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TN DHS) located in Smyrna TN. This is an on-site part-time position working Monday through Friday for 7.5 hours two days (8:00 am to 4:30 pm) per week and 5 hours one day per weekfor a total of 20 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $47.00 per hour.
SLP Job Duties will include:
- Working within an interdisciplinary team (OT/PT/ST) with students enrolled in various vocational areas of study (AOS) to provide support such as:
- Classroom strategies for processing information social skills and attention to task
- Time management
- Recommendations for accommodations related to communication/speech/social interaction/following multi-step commands
- Hands-on support in collaboration with the AOS instructor in the AOS hands-on training area
- Support for student internship sites
- Other SLP-related evaluations and assessments
Qualifications and Other Information for SLP position:
- MUSTbe a Licensed State of Tennessee Speech and Language Pathologist
- MUSTbe local to the Nashville area
- The days worked per week will be flexible but must meet the needs of the students schedule and flexible to cover other therapist if needed.
