Food Pantry Coordinator
Hours: Part-time 20 hours/week non-exempt position.
Location: Hope House Dover NJ
Pay: $18.00/Hour
General Summary:
Provides administrative functions and services related to the ongoing operation of the Food Pantry.
Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative functions necessary for all aspects of the food pantry including scheduling and supervision of volunteers procurement inspections and storage.
2. Process documentation necessary for USDA record keeping as well as client intake and data entry forms.
3. Keep well organized and thorough reports of donations CFBNJ allocations and all client data.
4. Attend Diocesan food pantry meetings.
5. Attend staff meetings.
6. Identify opportunities to improve operations service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
7. Work collaboratively with all staff.
8. Responsible for other duties that may be assigned from time to time to support the effective and efficient operation of Catholic Charities.
General Job Duties:
1. Follow work schedule as assigned by supervisor and/or administration (work schedule may change based on business need.)
2. Punch in/out via Paylocity every time you are on shift. Utilize the Paylocity App through a mobile or tablet device or a computer.
3. Notify supervisor prior to the start of your shift if unable to work due to sickness or personal emergency at least 6 hours in advance when possible. Submit Paid Time Off (PTO) request via Paylocity on day of return to work after taking one or more days off.
4. Follow Catholic Charities-CFCS Paid Time Off (PTO) Policy when requesting time off.
5. Know enforce and follow CC-CFCSs Policies and Procedures.
6. Complete all CC-CFCSs required trainings for staff as scheduled
7. Keep Personnel file updated with regard to filing any new degrees or certificates getting immunizations/medical test as required by licensing regulations and keeping any licenses and/or certificates current etc.
8. Attend in-service trainings staff meetings and supervisions as scheduled.
9. If applicable attend all Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) subcommittees of which you are a member and actively participate.
10. When applicable participate in internal/external investigations
11. Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies local state and federal
12. Travel to different program locations meetings trainings etc. as assigned
13. Review all communication sent via email and Paylocity daily
14. Review Employee Handbook and CFCSs policy and procedures thoroughly and acknowledge receipt annually
15. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or administration
Qualifications:
1. Strong customer service skills.
2. Computer skills.
3. Bachelors degree in Human Services related field or experience in social services.
4. Valid drivers license.
5. Position requires that this individual be able to lift 25 pounds.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Hope House Office Manager.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in the Food Pantry at Hope House. Travel to other parishes local donors other agency / Diocesan sites may be required.
