A growing and forward-thinking organisation based in Huntingtonis currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent full-time basis. As the Assistant Management Accountant your role will include (but not be limited to):
- Assisting with the preparation of month-end management accounts
- Supporting the month-end close process including journals and accruals
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
- Producing financial data and analysis to support business decisions
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Working closely with the wider finance team to resolve queries and improve processes
To be successful in this Assistant Management Accountant position you should ideally have:
- A strong can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and get involved
- The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
- A proactive ambitious mindset with a problem-solving approach
- Exposure to or an interest in working with Sage
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with numerical data
- A collaborative team-focused approach with clear communication skills
