Job Summary
Starrycare is currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to support catering and hospitality services across our client sites. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation service and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer care in line with Starrycares commitment to quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
Set up and clear dining areas including tables counters and service areas
Maintain a clean safe and hygienic kitchen and dining environment
Follow food safety health and hygiene regulations at all times
Provide excellent customer service to clients and service users
Assist with stock rotation storage and basic inventory checks
Support chefs and catering staff as required
Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
Qualifications
NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Catering Hospitality or Food Preparation
Understanding of health and safety practices in a kitchen or catering environment
Right to work in the UK
Requirements
Previous experience in catering hospitality or a similar role is an advantage but not essential
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings if required
