Position Summary:
Virsono Hearing Clinic is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time assistant to help convert paper patient charts into our electronic medical record (EMR) system. This role is ideal for someone who is organized comfortable working with confidential information and able to follow clear procedures in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scan paper patient charts and documents into the electronic medical record system
- Ensure scanned documents are clear complete and properly labeled
- Organize and prepare paper charts for scanning
- Verify accuracy and completeness of uploaded records
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with basic filing or clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and comfort working with scanners and electronic systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Reliable punctual and able to work independently
- Prior experience in a medical office records management or data entry is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move files or boxes up to approximately 25 lbs.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay based on experience
