Essential Functions
- Follows established safety rules and regulations.
- Performs scheduled preventive maintenance overhauls and troubleshooting all types of equipment including electrical components machinery and other equipment throughout the property.
- Conducts regular inspections on equipment to ensure safety.
- Uses different types of equipment to complete job tasks.
- Installs equipment for the hotel and casino as needed.
- Maintains clean orderly safe work area.
- Performs a variety of carpentry electrical and painting on property fixtures structures and equipment.
- Uses outdoor property maintenance equipment.
- Preforms outdoor maintenance around hotel and casino property.
- Preforms other tasks as assigned.

Essential Requirements
- Ability to input and access information into a computer
- Effective communication skills
- Basic knowledge of plumbing electricity mechanical equipment carpentry
- Knowledge of how to use power and hand tools to complete responsibilities
- Ability to work independently or as a team to complete job tasks
Ability to complete a variety of job tasks throughout the property
Knowledge/Work Experience
- Must be 21 years or older
- High school diploma GED or equivalent experience
- Trade school and/or training helpful
- Four (4) years of work experience in listed crafts including apprenticeship or technical training with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in same specialized craft
- Knowledge of how to use power and hand tools to complete responsibilities
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the New York State Gaming Commission
Language Skills:
Ability to read analyze and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests. Fluency in English required. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job the Team Member is regularly required to talk or hear. The Team Member is also regularly required to stand walk sit and use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls. The Team Member is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to sit climb or balance and stoop stretch bend kneel crouch or crawl.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifty (50) pounds and prolonged standing during the shift.
