Job Overview: Foster Career and Technical Education Center is seeking aCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Clinical Instructorto supervise and instruct student nursing assistants during their required40 hours of clinical training. This position is ideal for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about teaching and mentoring future CNAs in a hands-on clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervisegroupsof5-6 studentsin clinical settings.
- Ensure students meet40 hours of clinical trainingrequirements.
- Provide direct instruction and oversight duringclinical hours (typically 7:45 AM 11:15 AM with some full-day shifts from 7:00 AM 2:00 PM).
- Maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback.
- Follow state and program guidelines for CNA training.
Qualifications:
- Active Maine RN License (Required)
- Ability to pass aState of Maine Criminal Background Check & Fingerprinting
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Teaching experience preferred but not required
Position Details:

- Location:Foster Career and Technical Education Center Farmington Maine (Clinical training held at local healthcare facilities)
- Hours:Approximately120 hourseach school year
- Rate: $40.00 per hour
