Regional Supply Chain Head of North America

The Regional Supply Chain Head of North America will ensure the efficientcost-effective and resilient operation of the supply chain in the assignedregion covering both purchasing and logistics while aligning with globalcorporate strategy and local market requirements. They will optimize total costof ownership (TCO) across purchasing and logistics. Ensure supply continuityand mitigate risks in the regional supply chain. Improve supplier performanceand logistics efficiency. Drive sustainability and compliance with localregulations. Support regional growth and operational excellence.

Essential Job Functions

Purchasing

• Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies including a competitive and sustainable regional supplier base

Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships

• Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions
• Collaborate with global procurement to align strategies

Logistics

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations
• Optimize transportation routes and warehouse operations
• Evaluate market changes and adjust plans to ensure resilience and agility in supply
• Ensure compliance with trade / customs regulations and manage cross-border logistics.
• Optimize inventory levels to ensure availability reduce working capital and prevent excess stock
• Lead continuous improvement digitalization and standardization initiatives across plants in the assigned region

Leadership & Coordination

• Lead develop and mentor the regional supply chain teams in the assigned region fostering collaboration accountability and performance
• Coordinate with local GMs production quality and finance departments
• Represent the region in global supply chain meetings
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives streamline and deploy best practices from one location into the region of responsibility

Required Skills andKnowledge

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or related field; MBA preferred
• 8 - 12 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations or logistics
• Proven experience in a senior supply chain leadership role (Director Head of Supply Chain or similar)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. & Mexican logistics networks warehousing customs and import/export compliance
• Experience with ERP and supply chain planning systems (SAP)
• Demonstrated success in optimizing supply chain processes and scaling operations
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to manage suppliers domestically and internationally
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies (certifications a plus)
