Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the daily services/functions and staff of the Office of the Registrar at SDM which includes two full-time employees.

  • Collaborate with the Registrar to identify problems make decisions and find solutions in order to improve processes utilized to provide excellent customer service to students faculty alumni and staff.
  • Organize monitor and be responsible for all aspects of registration grades transcripts student records and graduation.
  • Manage the maintenance integrity and retention of all academic records (current and past).

Required Skills

  • Masters degree required.
  • Must have 5-8 years of direct work experience in a similar capacity in higher education.
  • Must have current knowledge of state and federal regulations related to student records and higher education practices.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with a diverse student population as well as faculty and staff at all levels.
  • Requires excellent problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Information System a plus.
