Pre-Construction Project Manager London & South East
We are supporting a market-leading provider of BEMSand ICT solutions. With a range of high-profile commercial and industrial projects across London and the South East delivered to award-winning standards within a collaborative employee-owned culture this role lets you shape projects from concept to completion.
About the role:
As a Pre-Construction Project Manager you will oversee new BMS and ICT projects during the early stages ensuring a consistent efficient approach to pre-construction planning. Acting as the key point of contact post-sales you will drive early design and engineering manage procurement reviews negotiate supplier discounts and issue project programmes aligned with contract timelines. This is a highly collaborative role working closely with sales engineering and delivery teams to set projects up for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pre-construction phases of BMS & ICT projects
- Oversee order acknowledgements and support project handovers
- Act as customer contact post-sales handover
- Conduct procurement reviews and negotiate supplier discounts
- Produce and issue project programmes and schedules
- Drive early design engineering and project deliverables
- Provide commercial and contractual input to ensure project efficiency
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record managing major projects
- Strong knowledge of BMS/ICT systems and associated technologies
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Project and web-based document control systems
