Job Summary

The Department of Languages Literatures & Cultures at Augustana University (Sioux Falls South Dakota) invites applications for a one-year full-time sabbatical-leave replacement in French beginning Fall 2026. We seek a generalist able to teach French at the introductory through advanced levels.

Responsibilities:

Teach three courses per semester and a one-month January course (seven courses) and full participation in the activities of the department.

Required qualifications:

M.A. French or French Studies required Ph.D. preferred. Commitment to and demonstrated experience in undergraduate teaching; experience in technology-aided instruction; and a commitment to the mission of a private upper Midwest liberal arts church-related college are required.
