Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing is seeking a Saw/Deburr Technician to join our Mechanical Manufacturing team in Huntsville AL.

Primary Responsibilities
TheSaw / Deburr Technician must be capable of reading engineering drawings and can read standard measurement tools such as tape measure dial calipers or micrometers.
Ideal candidate should also have experience in manual or CNC machining with experience using hand tools like grinders files and standard metal finishing tools.
Work history in the manufacturing of complex aerospace components is a plus.
Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must possess a High School diploma/GED with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Candidates must have the ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds unassisted.
Candidate must be able to work overtime when required.
Regular attendance required.
Applicant must be able to work a full-time 4-days Monday - Thursday 2nd Shift 4:00 PM 2:30 AM.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Vertical and Horizontal CNC Saws.
Drawing reading ability or CAD experience.
Experience in a high precision Aerospace environment.
