Job Summary

Join the Glenorchy City Council Building and Plumbing team

Were offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced plumbing professional to join our passionate and forward-thinking Building and Plumbing team at Glenorchy Council. The successful candidate must be licensed as a Plumbing Certifier (Cert IV) or Plumber (Cert III) hold a current Tasmanian Plumbing Licence and a current drivers licence.

This position is a permanent full-time role working a 9-day fortnight and requests for flexibility are welcomed.

At Glenorchy Council youll be exposed to a diverse and growing municipality encompassing a mix of industrial commercial and residential matters.

As the successful applicant youll be part of a motivated team of innovative professionals focused on delivering quality outcomes. You will be required to act as a permit authority assess and issue permits and deal with the plumbing compliance matters as they relate to Councils obligations under the Building Act 2016.
