Position Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department (ED) in Utica NY. This role is ideal for nurses with ED experience including some pediatrics who can manage high-acuity patients across all age groups.

Beds: 64 total (2 Triage 40 Acute 6 Super Track 2 Trauma 10 CDU 6 Psych)
Patient Population: Newborn Pediatrics Adults Geriatric
Common Diagnoses: Stroke Sepsis Trauma MI Cardiac Arrest Respiratory Failure
Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor Arctic Sun
Floating Required: Yes
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Charge Capability: Highly preferred

Requirements

Minimum 2 years ED experience (some pediatrics preferred)
Active NY RN License
Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS TNCC (must be in-hand)

EMR experience: Epic
