The Clinical Therapist is a health care professional who functions as an integral member of an interdisciplinary treatment team. S/he provides psychosocial assessments treatment and helps manage a structured and safe inpatient milieu. The Clinical Therapist must be skilled in providing multi-modal therapy (individual group family). S/he is responsible for the on-going assessment of the care plan ensuring that it meets the needs of the patient at all times. S/he is knowledgeable about the risk factors inherent in the patient population and actively supports a culture that fosters safety for patients and staff alike. The Clinical Therapist is skilled in effective communication and is responsible for clear
and concise documentation in the patient care record.

Demonstrated ability to work within a treatment team format is required.
Demonstrated ability to provide high quality patient care and effectively utilize clinical supervision is required.
Must be able to be a good role model for patients.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate evidence of clinical and personal growth.

For Holiday Coverage Travelers are REQUIRED to work ONE of the following:

Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and Friday/weekend after
New Year Eve/New Year Day and Friday/weekend after

NOTE Extensions that are requested to END in November or before the holiday starts in December will NOT be considered for an extension at the beginning of 2026

8hrs non-billable orientation
Holiday and OT Multipliers - 1.25%

Requirement description :

Minimum 2 Plus Years of Psych Experience - Required
LSW Strongly preferred
Be Smart Be Safe training Strongly Preferred
Experience with Adolescent and Adult Patients - Required
Experience working on an inpatient psychiatric unit Required
Experience working with patients with substance abuse disorders required
Perm address required in profile
Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
