JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: MS PowerApps Systems Analyst

LOCATION: Austin TX (Onsite (Mon and Tues) Remote (Wed Thurs Fri). The program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY.

DURATION: Initial contract for 1176 hours through 8/31/26 (end of fiscal year) with anticipated extensions.

JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This Systems Analyst contractor position is part of the MCS team and will be working to develop implement and support the expansion of the Texas HHS Microsoft 365 Power Platform in support of custom application development. This position will perform Systems Analyst/Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Dataverse Power Pages PowerApps Model-driven Apps PowerApp Portals Business Process Flows and more.

Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.

5	Required	Experience with Software as a Service (Saas) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
4	Required	Experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate technical solutions
4	Required	Experience in Microsoft Power Platform development
4	Required	Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven PowerApps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse SharePoint or other databases as the backend data storage model
4	Required	Experience developing Power Automate Flows Desktop Flows business process Flows
4	Required	Experience in Dataverse tables and uses
4	Required	Experience in Power Pages portals
4	Required	Experience in Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center
2	Preferred	Communication analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization
2	Preferred	Good teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project
2	Preferred	Experience in Agile development and sprint planning
2	Preferred	Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams
1	Preferred	Experience with Power Platform mobile apps Power Virtual Agents Power Pages and PowerApps portals

- Public-sector experience has become more important. This becomes stronger when the Texas position relates directly to the previous public-sector experience. For example if Texas has an opening in Motor Vehicles your candidate with Motor Vehicle experience in say Michigan is a huge plus to be selected for an interview. Even better if the candidate has Texas experience.
