Role: MongoDB Analyst

Location: Remote

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MongoDB Analyst to manage analyze and optimize large-scale NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing data models ensuring data integrity improving database performance and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design develop and maintain MongoDB databases and collections

- Analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights

- Optimize database performance through indexing query optimization and schema design

- Monitor database health performance and storage usage

- Ensure data quality consistency and security across MongoDB environments

- Collaborate with developers data engineers and business analysts to support application and reporting needs

- Implement backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies

- Troubleshoot and resolve MongoDB-related issues in development and production environments

- Document database structures processes and best practices

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Proven experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases

- Strong understanding of document-based data modeling

- Proficiency in MongoDB query language (CRUD operations aggregation framework)

- Experience with indexing strategies and performance tuning

- Knowledge of data security access control and encryption best practices

- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- PBM Experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with MongoDB Atlas

- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python JavaScript or

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)

- Understanding of data visualization or BI tools

- MongoDB certification (associate or professional)

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field
