Job Summary

As an Applied AI/ML Director Researcher at JPMorganChase in the Applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning team in Corporate and Investment Banking you will transform operationsbyleveragingthe latest advancements inagentic AI andfrontier models.This is a role for a builder a scientific pioneerand mentor who can bridge the gap betweenleading edge theory and enterprise-gradelarge-scaledeployable systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Architects and developS GenAI and Agentic solutions to automate complex operational processes
- AssistsJPMorganChase (JPMC) Linesof Businessandteams to directly solve for priority use cases within the domain
- Delivers multiple agents that can collaborate to solve large complex problems orchestrate end to end workflows and scale across JPMC
- Designs and build services and libraries that AI teams want to use
- Mentors and inspire a team of AI engineers fostering a culture of excellence innovation and continuous learning
- Ensures the scalability reliability and security of AI/ML solutions in a production environment with a focus on long-term sustainability
- Collaborates with stakeholders and technical partners acrossLines of Businessand firmwide to scale solutions andmaximize impact
Required qualificationscapabilitiesand skills
- Research experience or have worked in one of the top commercial AI research labs in a Director level or equivalent role
- Deep understanding of AI fundamentals and practical experience with data analysis and experimental design
- Proventrack recordof deploying AI/ML applications in a production environmentat scale
- Familiarity with distributed computing patterns for training serving persistence of state
- Experience integrating user feedback toestablishagenticrefinementand self-improving AI applications
- Experience in building and leading high-performing AI teams
Preferred qualificationscapabilitiesand skills
- PhD preferred but notrequired
- Expertisein deploying models on AWS platforms such as SageMaker or Bedrockwill bestronglyconsidered but notrequired
