Job Description
A well-respected hospital in Southern New Hampshire is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join its Stepdown Unit. This is an outstanding opportunity for nurses who excel in fast-paced high-acuity environments and are looking to broaden their clinical skills while enjoying a rewarding travel assignment.
In this role you will care for patients who require close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions serving as a critical link between the ICU and medical-surgical units.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to moderately complex high-acuity patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms vital signs and overall patient condition
- Administer medications IV therapies and treatments per provider orders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatments and discharge planning
- Accurately document care and patient progress in the electronic medical record
Qualifications
- BSN required
- Active RN license
- 1 year of recent PCU Stepdown or Telemetry experience required
- 3 years of total nursing experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not required
Assignment Details
- 13-week travel contract with potential for extension
- Night shift: 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts
- Competitive all-inclusive pay rate
