Join a leading provider of integrated facilities services across Australia and New Zealand. At the Royal Adelaide Hospital Downer delivers comprehensive non-clinical operational and maintenance services including Cleaning Orderlies Patient Catering Security Patient Ward and Theatre support Logistics and Building and Asset Maintenance that ensure optimum patient experience and outcomes.

We currently have a unique opportunity for the right person to step into a key role within our Quality and Performance Team on a 12 month contract. As a Continuous Improvement & Performance Analyst you will be pivotal in driving operational excellence and service delivery oversight.

As a Continuous Improvement & Performance Analyst at Downer youll enjoy a reasonably autonomous role within the established supportive Quality and Performance Team. You will:

  • Lead end-to end process improvement initiatives by using your strategic analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex processes and data identify issues co-design solutions and lead implementation.
  • Apply strong knowledge of performance measurement and continuous improvement methodologies to optimise service efficiency and quality.
  • Build strong relationships by engaging directly with service line leadership and senior contract leadership presenting insights and recommendations clearly to influence decision-making and drive positive change.
  • Leverage data analysis and visualisation tools (such as Power BI Excel and SQL) to support improvement work by translating data and performance trends into actionable insights that shape strategy and operational priorities.
  • Manage multiple priorities with strong organisational and project management skills ensuring improvement projects are delivered on time and with impact.
  • Apply your understanding of change management principles ensuring improvements are understood adopted and embedded sustainably across the business.

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors degree in business or related field (desired).
  • Several years experience in an equivalent role.
  • Prior experience in consulting would be highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Power BI Excel and SQL (desired)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of performance frameworks KPIs and compliance reporting.
