Job Summary

Job Title: GenAI Tech Lead

Location: Lisbon Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (x2 days per week on-site)

Overview / Summary:

We are looking for a Tech Lead in Generative AI to lead a team of five professionals and drive the definition architecture and end-to-end implementation of advanced GenAI solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership deep expertise in modern AI technologies and the ability to translate business needs into robust secure and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Define GenAI solution architecture: data pipelines LLMs embeddings RAG agents orchestration integrations.
Provide technical leadership to AI Scientists/Engineers enforcing best engineering practices.
Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs.
Lead end-to-end delivery: data ingestion model development pipelines testing automation CI/CD deployment.
Establish standards and guidelines for LLMs vector databases agent frameworks MLOps/LLMOps DataOps.
Perform technical reviews (architecture code PRs design docs).
Support technology decisions across AI platforms and tools.
Ensure security compliance access policies log auditing and sensitive-data protection.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

Relevant degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in leading AI/ML or GenAI teams.
Experience in designing and delivering GenAI/LLM solutions.
Experience in LLMs embeddings RAG agent frameworks vector DBs MLOps/LLMOps DataOps OpenAI/Azure OpenAI Databricks LangChain LlamaIndex.
