Job Summary

We are seeking a mid-level Software Developer with a strong focus on Data Visualization and AI this role you will bridge the gap between our data and our decision-makers using Microsoft Power BI to drive insights and Python to build internal AI applications.

You will be part of a truly global engineering effort. While you will report locally in India for administrative support your daily priorities and technical oversight will come from our US Team Manager. Additionally you will collaborate regularly with our internal development team in Spain coordinating on technical standards and shared integration points.

Core Responsibilities

Enterprise Data & Analytics (Power BI Focus)

Power BI Development: You will be the primary developer for our internal dashboards. Your goal is to build effective user-friendly reports that allow US leadership to visualize key metrics.
Report Configuration: You will handle the full build of the reportadding the right visualizations creating data groupings managing filters and ensuring the data tells a clear story.
SQL Development: Create the necessary database structures to support your reporting and applications. This includes creating tables views and writing stored procedures. (Note: You are not expected to be a Database Administrator or manage the server itself but you must be comfortable creating your own database objects).

AI & Application Development (Python Focus)

AI Application Development: Use Python to build backend logic for internal AI tools. You will work with APIs (OpenAI/Azure OpenAI) and data processing libraries (Pandas) to create intelligent features.
Workflow Automation: Build and maintain automated business processes using Azure Logic Apps Microsoft Power Automate or n8n. You will help streamline complex internal business operations by connecting our different software systems.
Graph Database Integration: Support the integration of our Neo4j graph database into AI workflows helping us map complex relationships in our data.

Global Collaboration (US India Spain)

Cross-Team Coordination: Work with the development team in Spain to align on coding standards share API documentation and ensure our internal tools work seamlessly across regions.
Asynchronous Work: Because of the time differences you must be disciplined about updating tickets (Jira/Azure DevOps) and documenting your code so the US and Spain teams can review your work while you sleep.
* Task Estimation: Accurately estimate how long development tasks will take and deliver them on time.

Requirements

Time Zone Overlap: This role requires a fixed overlap with US Morning hours specifically 7:00 PM 10:00 PM IST to participate in daily stand-ups and code reviews.

Communication: Strong English communication is essential. You must be comfortable explaining what you built and how it works to the US and Spain teams via video calls and written updates.

Experience & Technical Skills:

35 years of development experience.
Proficiency in Power BI: You know how to build clean effective data models and write standard DAX measures. You have a solid grasp of the fundamentals and are eager to learn advanced techniques as you grow.
Solid Python Skills: You can write clean functional scripts for API integrations and data processing.
Working knowledge of SQL: You are comfortable creating tables Views and Stored Procedures to organize data for your applications.
Experience with Workflow Automation tools (Azure Logic Apps Power Automate or n8n).
Nice to have: Experience with Neo4j / Graph Databases.
Professional Attributes:
Curiosity: You are excited to experiment with new tools (like n8n or new Python AI libraries) and figure out how to apply them to business problems.
