We are hiring an energetic and result-driven Sales Officer Modern Trade to drive sales growth in-store execution and retailer relationships across South Delhi and Gurgaon.
Sales & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Manage primary and secondary sales for modern trade chains
Track KPIs and sales performance metrics
Modern Trade Execution
Execute in-store promotions activations and visibility plans
Support new product launches and trade marketing initiatives
Account & Distributor Management
Build strong relationships with MT distributors and retailers
Coordinate with buying teams and store managers
Merchandising & Availability
Ensure correct product placement and planogram adherence
Maintain optimal stock levels across assigned stores
Process & Commercial Hygiene
Handle purchase orders (POs)
Follow up on GRNs claims and payment collections
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Track competitor activity and market trends
Prepare sales reports and performance updates
Team Coordination
Train and guide merchandisers and field sales staff
Experience in FMCG / Retail / Modern Trade sales
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good understanding of sales processes and retail execution
Analytical and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and manage field teams
