About the Role
As the Business Development Officer AI Courses at Mumbai you will play a pivotal role in driving B2C admissions for IIDEs Artificial Intelligence programs. While this is primarily a B2C role prior B2B/B2C sales experience will enable you to strengthen outreach enhance conversions and support the overall growth of the AI program vertical. The role demands strong AI understanding tech fluency excellent communication skills and experience in high-quality consultative or SaaS selling.
What Youll Do
Lead Generation & Outreach
Engage in B2C outreach through calls walk-ins consultations events and webinars.
Build and maintain a strong admissions pipeline for AI programs.
Use B2B exposure where applicable for institutional tie-ups workshop opportunities and corporate leads.
AI Program Pitching & Consultative Selling
Deliver impactful presentations explaining AI curriculum tools workflows and career outcomes.
Simplify complex AI concepts for a non-technical audience.
Apply SaaS-style consultative selling techniques to understand learner needs and drive conversions.
Sales & Revenue Management
Consistently achieve weekly and monthly admissions targets.
Manage the entire sales cycle from inquiry handling to enrollment closure.
Utilize CRM tools for lead tracking pipeline management and conversion optimization.
Relationship Building & Market Insights
Build trust-driven relationships with students parents and key stakeholders.
Stay updated on AI market trends demand patterns and competitor courses.
Represent IIDE at events info sessions orientations and AI-focused activities.
Additional Duties
Support AI-related masterclasses webinars and info sessions.
Share insights with marketing and academic teams to enhance the learner journey.
Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Who You Are
Must-Have
28 years of experience in business development inside sales EdTech or technology sales roles.
Strong exposure to B2C sales and experience/understanding of B2B selling.
Strong understanding of AI tools applications and technology-driven career paths.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Proven ability to meet revenue targets and manage a high-volume fast-paced sales environment.
Residing in Mumbai.
Should Have
Experience in selling tech programs SaaS products or AI/digital upskilling courses.
Ability to simplify technical concepts for varied audiences.
Proficiency in CRMs sales automation tools and data-driven selling techniques.
Nice to Have
Certifications or practical exposure in AI/ML data analytics or emerging tech tools.
Experience in enterprise-style consultative selling.
Experience guiding or mentoring junior sales staff.
Skills & Requirements: - 1 - 7 years of experience in academic counseling / sales / admissions (edtech preferred). - Strong communication & presentation skills (English proficiency a must). - Proven track record of meeting & exceeding sales/ conversion targets. - Ability to handle student objections and build trust through consultative counseling. - Target-driven with strong follow-up and closing skills. - Proficiency in CRM tools Google Suite. - Passion for education and guiding students in making career choices.
