Job Summary

Founded in 1963 Townley Engineering & Manufacturing is a rapidly growing American-made solutions expert for wear and abrasion problems found in the mining dredging and power industries. We have an opening for a Mfg Tech for our Rubber division.

Responsibilities include:

Collect raw material and fittings specified in work order
Assemble rubberized fabric rubber tubing and gum rubber ply (layer) stocks to fabricate industrial hose
Operate and monitor machinery involved in the manufacturing process of rubber hoses
Conduct quality checks on produced products to ensure they meet specified standards
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintains a clean workstation and production floor.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and resolve issues.
Participates in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policies.

Requirements:

Attention to detail- Strong focus on quality control and adherence to production specifications.
Safety Awareness- Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Team Player- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with colleagues.
Position works indoors and outdoors in varying climates
Occasionally stoop kneel and/or crouch
Stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
