Our client is a well-established global engineering and manufacturing organization that designs and delivers highly engineered test and industrial solutions used across automotive industrial and advanced manufacturing environments. With a strong technical foundation and a collaborative team culture this organization is expanding its Technical Sales team and seeking an early-career professional eager to grow in a customer-facing technical role.

Position Overview

The Junior Technical Sales Representative supports sales activities for engineered products used in automotive machinery and industrial applications. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with internship co-op or entry-level experience in technical sales engineering support applications or a related field.

Youll work closely with experienced technical sales professionals engineers and internal teams to support customer engagement proposals and solution development. This is a hands-on opportunity to build technical knowledge sales skills and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support technical sales efforts including customer inquiries and product discussions

  • Assist with preparing quotes proposals and technical documentation

  • Learn and communicate product capabilities and applications

  • Collaborate with engineering and applications teams to support customer solutions

  • Participate in customer meetings product demos and internal sales discussions

  • Maintain accurate records and activity within CRM systems

  • Support trade shows customer visits and sales initiatives as needed



Requirements

Who Were Looking For

  • 1-3 years of related experience in Technical Sales

  • Internship co-op or entry-level exposure to technical sales engineering applications or manufacturing environments

  • Interest in automotive machinery or industrial products

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Motivated curious and eager to learn complex technical products

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative onsite team environment

Education & Experience (Preferred Not Required)

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Technical Sales or related field is a plus

  • Internship experience within automotive industrial machinery or manufacturing industries

  • Exposure to CRM systems quoting tools or technical presentations is beneficial
