This strategic leadership role is ideal for a seasoned finance executive with deep experience in non-profit financial management. Reporting to the Deputy CFO you will oversee the development of consolidated budgets financial reporting and board presentations while providing guidance to a team of three. Youll collaborate with business unit chiefs and staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of consolidated operating and program budgets
- Present comprehensive financial statements and board reports
- Advise business units on strategic financial matters and budget development
- Conduct quarterly financial reviews and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with APA policies and communication standards
- Mentor and guide a team of three finance professionals
Qualifications:
- 9 years of progressive finance experience with significant non-profit/association background
- BA in Accounting Finance Business Management or related field
- Advanced proficiency in accounting and budgeting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 BI360/Solver Planful etc.)
- Strong leadership analytical and communication skills
- Experience preparing financial analysis and board-level reporting
Salary: Around $150K (to be confirmed)
Location: Remote eligible (with some state restrictions)
