Area Sales Manager SEAT CUPRA Ireland

SEAT CUPRA Ireland are recruiting an Area Sales Manager to oversee their dealer network across the Republic of Ireland focusing on achieving sales targets managing dealer sales plans and maintaining brand performance and compliance. The successful candidate needs to be focused passionate and a team player with a proven sales track record.


Reporting directly to the Head of Sales some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day retailer performance management.
  • Setting Annual dealer targets
  • Monitor/coach Retailers to ensure that sales targets are met on a monthly quarterly and annual basis.
  • Achievement of monthly/annual national retail/ wholesale sales targets including; volume model mix stock age BEV & PHEV
  • Develop action plans with Dealers whilst maintaining effective relationships.
  • Work with the Head of Sales to develop tactical initiatives providing competitor information to support the action needed to be deployed to the market.
  • Other tasks as deemed necessary by management and SEAT CUPRA HQ.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to gain the respect and confidence of key stakeholders (internally & externally).
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret financial statements / KPIs.
  • Commercial understanding & awareness of the motor industry / retail business.
  • The ability to turn challenging situations into opportunities for the brand.
  • Strong intuition team player and problem solver..
  • Experience in Motor Retail / Finance / Leasing / Fleet business would be a distinct advantage.
