Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Maintain the master database system which contains essential demographic and medical information for all residents in facility. Make data entries daily and prepares a daily census report. File pertinent medical information in the active medical record.
  • Serve as a Payroll Manager and Timekeeper with entering payroll entries into Payroll System. Review schedules leave slips call-in slips accrual slips Physician Statements etc. for accuracy. Identify inaccuracies and forward to the appropriate supervisor(s) for action and corrections.
  • Process all residents for admission to the facility. Prepare required forms for the active medical record maintained on nursing unit. Meet with resident and/or authorized representative to complete all of the necessary forms.
  • Process all discharges for the facility. Audit to close the record to ensure that all required information is present.
  • Prepare medical record information for release to the resident an authorized representative or any other outside entity when an official request is made per Policy and Procedure.

Compensation: This position is paid an hourly wage.
