Job Summary
Legato LLCrecruiters () would love to speak with you regarding the following position:Network Engineer at Fort Meade MD.
Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Salary Range:$150000-$180000 depending on experience.
We are seeking:
A Network Engineer that will provide assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation maintenance and upgrading of existing networks; Analyzes design specifications and related documents; Implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment; Analyzes network characteristics (e.g. traffic connect time transmission speeds packet sizes and throughput) troubleshoots problems and recommends procurement of and/or modifications to network components.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
- Within the last three (3) years experience as a network engineer
- Experience with cisco routers switches and firewalls
- Proficient with Linux and Windows
- A CCNA OR CCNP certification
- A Security certification
- Desired but not required experience: patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources Linus/Windows system administration Ansible/Salt scripts and AWS/VMs
- Shall have at least twelve(12) years of related work experience
- A bachelors degree in a related discipline is required. Four (4) years of equivalent experience may be substituted for the bachelors degree for a total of sixteen (16) years of experience
