Job Summary

Job Description: Master Data Management Engineer

Join us in shaping the future of data! Were seeking a handson Master Data Management (MDM) Engineer to design implement maintain and continuously improve master data solutions to ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across highly secure air-gapped environments. This role is critical for enabling trusted data across domains such as customer product supplier and finance supporting analytics compliance and operational efficiency in a Defence-grade cloud setting. The role spans endtoend solution delivery: data modeling MDM hub operations data quality integration workflow and stewardship secure API integration performance tuning and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

  • Architect and configure Informatica Multidomain MDM solutions for air-gapped deployments.
  • Develop data models workflows and integration patterns aligned with cloud architecture.
  • Develop reusable workflows for data ingestion quality transformation and optimization.
  • Build scalable data pipelines utilizing various tools and technologies.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Implement data stewardship processes enforce governance policies and maintain compliance with Defence security standards.
  • Perform data profiling cleansing and quality audits to ensure authoritative master records.

Integration & Migration

  • Collaborate on secure data migration strategies between legacy systems and air-gapped environments.
  • Integrate MDM with cloud services and cross-domain services for data movement.

Performance & Security

  • Optimize MDM performance for air-gapped infrastructure ensuring resilience and zero-trust compliance.
  • Apply PII/PHI anonymization and redaction rules for sensitive datasets.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work closely with data architects security teams and project leads to align MDM solutions with project objectives.
  • Document configurations workflows and operational procedures for audit and knowledge transfer.

Technical Skills

  • Bachelors degree in computer science data science or a relevant field of study.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant related skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in data engineering and data migrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica or similar MDM tooling.
  • Expertise in data modelling data integration and data quality management.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture and secure deployment patterns.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to work in highly regulated mission-critical environments.

DESIRABLE

  • Advanced proficiency in Cloud Technologies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of zero-trust principles sovereign operations and Defence security frameworks.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Data Quality Assurance.
  • Intermediate proficiency in ETL Processes.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Database Management.
  • Advanced Intermediate proficiency in Data Visualization Tools.

Additional Requirements:

Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance (NV1).

This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.

Must be willing to work onsite 5 days per week
