About the Team & Business Line:
Citco Bank provides fully integrated transaction deposit foreign exchange and credit facilities to our Fund Services and Governance Services clients. Operating in strategic global centres Citco Bank provides access to best of breed process and technology.
As a core member of our Bankingteam you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to minimize operational risks and ensure our clients experience seamless delivery across banking services.
Responsibilities
Purpose:
The products and services of Citco Custody (UK) Limited (the Depositary) address the individual needs of our clients: to protect preserve and enhance assets in a secure and confidential environment. Our experienced workforce provides international investment managers with a comprehensive depositary custody and banking service to assist them in executing their alternative investment strategies. The Depositary Analyst is responsible for completing all assigned review work in an effective and timely manner and to support the Depositary Account Manager to ensure the efficiency of the section is maintained.
Your role:
Ensure adherence to allpolicies & procedures.
Monitor activity within client cash accounts compliance with investment & borrowing restrictions and safekeeping of assets.
Perform comprehensive independent reviews of Net Asset Valuations.
Provide assistance during on-site inspections.
Liaise with other departments to ensure error/breaches are recorded and resolved in a timely manner as well as ensure prompt escalation to management of any issues.
Deal with all queries received in a professional manner.
You will have the opportunity to Identify and propose procedural enhancements as well as assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
Work collaboratively with the Depositary Account Manager and Senior Depositary Analyst in both day to day and training activities
Involvement in providing ad-hoc project support
Qualifications
About You:
Previous fund admin or Depositary/Custody/ Trustee experience within the PERE / Hedge fund industry is desirable but not a pre-requisite
Previous Audit Private Equity / Hedge Funds experience desirable
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Good knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word Excel etc)
Enthusiastic Self-Motivated Problem Solver/Analytical
Works effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative
Degree or equivalent is desirable
