Student Assistant for Programming

The Faculty of Engineering in Sønderborg is looking for a student assistant to support students with programming date 15 January 2026 or as soon as possible one year employment 12 hours pr week

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivatedstudent assistant with programming skillswho also hasexperience in guiding or mentoring students.

Your Responsibilities

Assist the students attending the study café
Provide guidance to students on programming-related questions
Support teaching activities or workshops when needed
Assist the academic staff

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a relevant higher education program
Experienceadvising or mentoring studentsfor example as a teaching assistant tutor or mentor
Knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g. Python Java JavaScript C# etc.)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A structured and independent approach to work

Please note the selected candidate as Student Assistant or Academic Supervisor must be enrolled as student at SDU.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).

In case you have not yet had an examination at SDU the enrollment confirmation instead of the exam transcript must be annexed your application.

Application must include cover letter CV and transcript of grades. All documents in connection with the application should not contain CPR number (civil registration number) in that case the CPR number must be crossed out.
