Description

We are seeking an Academic Employee (A-TAP) to join our dynamic research group of approximately 10 people funded by the Villum Foundation. Our research focuses on exploring the relationship between the evolution of life and the evolution of the Earth surface environment.

This group is part of the bigger Nordcee groupof the Biology Departmentof the University of Southern Denmark.

You will be working with sponges in relationship to the oxygen content of the environment and the position will involve some experimental work including field work.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a knack for experimental design and knowledge about sponge biology. The ideal applicant should demonstrate expertise in utilizing microsensor technologies for precise oxygen measurements and a proven competence in maintaining marine sponges in laboratory settings.

The position is from April 12026 December 31 2027.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance andAC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).
