The Department of Banking & Finance in the Faculty of Business and Economics invites applications for sessional academics to join our dynamic academic team with a primary focus on undertaking assessment and grading activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your industry expertise to the development of future finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Mark and assess student assignments exams and other coursework in line with established rubrics
Provide timely constructive feedback to support student learning and professional growth
Maintain academic integrity and uphold the high teaching standards of the Monash Business School
About You!
We are seeking candidates who possess strong academic qualifications in Finance ideally holding a Bachelors degree or higher combined with recent or current experience in the banking finance or broader commercial sector. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of accuracy and consistency in applying assessment criteria sound judgement in evaluating student work and a commitment to maintaining academic integrity. A meticulous approach to detail the ability to manage assessment workloads within defined timeframes and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
