As a Product Analyst in the Securities Services Analytics AI & Data Strategy team you will help deliver impactful data and analytics solutions by collaborating with cross-functional partners. Work closely with the Product team to provide insights and data for applications and systems gaining exposure to product management and delivery to prepare for a thriving career at JPMorgan Chase.
Job responsibilities
- Works with the broader Analytics AI and Data Strategy team to execute Securities Services data analytics and AI initiatives across all major products and stakeholder groups
- Partners closely with AI/ML research Data Product Development Quantitative Research Sales Client Service Business Managers Operations and Technology team to learn techniques to elicit specify discover and document business requirements
- Provides regular status updates monitors project progress and supports the full program delivery lifecycle including activities within Technology sprints.
- Assists in tracking data modernization and AI initiatives and helps organize and document meetings with stakeholders
- Acts as a supporting point of contact for product-related questions resolving issues and managing risks such as data bottlenecks
- Coordinates ad-hoc research and resolves daily issues data requests reporting needs and regulatory requirements impacting data and analytics projects
- Supports the Product team by analyzing business needs and identifying opportunities for data-driven improvements
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Business Data Analytics Computer Science Economics Mathematics)
- Baseline knowledge or exposure to analytics concepts and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and communicate clearly
- Emerging understanding of the product development life cycle
- Strong attention to detail organization and willingness to learn
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Internship or coursework experience in data analytics product management or technology
- Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Alteryx) or basic programming (e.g. Python SQL) is a plus
- Excel PowerPoint; familiarity with JIRA or Confluence is a plus
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts through university projects or online courses
- Proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks
