About the Opportunity
Contentful is seeking a Senior Manager Field Marketing for the ANZ region to drive regional marketing strategy and execution for our enterprise and commercial go-to-market teams. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery developing targeted marketing programs that build brand awareness deepen customer engagement and generate high-quality pipeline across Australia and New Zealand.
As a regional marketing leader youll work in close partnership with Sales Partner and Demand Generation teams to design and execute integrated field marketing programs that support growth objectives. Youll also manage one direct report that will wear many hats providing coaching and mentorship to ensure flawless execution of field activities events and assumes the role of a marketing generalist.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence skilled at building programs that resonate with enterprise audiences while being deeply organized creative and data-driven.
What to expect
Strategic Field Marketing Leadership
- Develop and own the ANZ field marketing strategy aligning with global and regional go-to-market priorities.
- Serve as the regional marketing lead ensuring alignment between local initiatives and broader global campaigns.
Campaign and Program Development
- Design and execute integrated field marketing programs (events digital activations partnerships customer case studies and regional campaigns) that increase awareness engagement and pipeline.
- Build campaigns that reinforce Contentfuls positioning as an enterprise-ready composable CMS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Content Digital Product Marketing and Demand Gen) to ensure regional practices ladder to Global program standards.
- Own vendor relationships in region to scale and drive Brand Content and Creative efforts forward to localize content and messaging for regional audiences
Event and Experience Management
- Oversee end-to-end event strategy and execution including hosted events executive roundtables partner programs and sponsorships.
- Manage all event logistics: objectives materials event marketing creative assets vendor management on-site production and budget tracking.
- Ensure every event delivers measurable business impact and an exceptional attendee experience.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage mentor and develop a Field Marketing Manager supporting event execution and back-of-house campaign delivery.
- Partner closely with global marketing peers to share best practices ensure brand consistency and amplify successful regional initiatives.
Performance & ROI Measurement
- Track analyze and report on campaign performance lead quality and ROI using Salesforce and marketing automation tools.
- Conduct post-event and quarterly performance reviews to inform future planning and budget allocation.
- Continuously refine programs based on data-driven insights to optimize results.
What you need to be successful
- 7 years of experience in B2B field marketing or integrated marketing ideally within enterprise SaaS or tech environments.
- Demonstrated experience building and executing regional marketing programs that drive pipeline and influence revenue.
- Strong marketing expertise and a proven ability to collaborate with enterprise sales teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills confident presenting to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience managing budgets agencies and vendors.
- A passion for creating engaging measurable field experiences that build relationships and move prospects through the funnel.
